So… Skin Care Products
My ‘Skin Care Routine’ is not huge, I don’t use hundreds of products for different parts and areas of my face or things like that as I’ve always had relatively good skin (never really oily, never really dry and I rarely get spots).
I like to go for a very natural, dewy, glowy look when doing my makeup. The products I use tend to help with hydration, vibrancy and that all round glow.
I would say my skin type is – Normal, basic bitch, bog standard… However you would like to phrase that.
So let’s begin with my quick video… ( I’m still unsure whether to do my videos portrait mode which is great for my instagram story, or whether I should make videos in landscape mode? Hmmm… anyways …
And of course, a few out takes…
I thought adding video’s into my blogs might make them a little more personal and more fun. Whilst making this video I was quite nervous, as you can probably see , which is not like me at all as I’m a very confident person usually. Perhaps I came across nervous as I completely winged the video and maybe I should have wrote some sort of script as to what I was going to say. However, this is why I also have a blog, As I can write more detail into why I am recommending these products.
So… as I wanted to keep my video rather short (around 1 minute) I wanted to write a blog along side, so I can inform you about prices of the products, including how each product feels on my skin, and of course the aftermath, feel and look.

Neutrogena – Hydro Boost … This water-gel moisturiser is for those of you who’s skin is rather dry. It’s Oil-free and also suitable for sensitive skin. I put this on in the morning before putting on my makeup. Once applied it sinks into my skin very quickly, which is great because I can start applying my makeup straight away. This product contains Hyaluronic gel which releases moisture throughout the day so my skin looks and feels really hydrated.

£75- 50ml
£95- 75ml
I got the Travel Exclusive 100ml at the airport in duty free and cost me over £100
Estée Lauder – Advanced Night Repair … This product is a gel-like serum. Perfect for all skin types. Fragrance and oil free. I put this on my skin an hour or so before bed and when I wake up in the morning I can automatically see a difference in my skin. My skin feels so much smoother, and looks much more radiant and younger. This serum is great for Skin damage, wrinkles, dryness, dehydration, dullness, skin ageing and also uneven skin tone. Contains hyaluronic acidic- Which locks in moisture and can hold 1000x its weight in water. This is by far my favourite.

Skin Reviver Instant Smoother- £17- 30ml
The Body Shop- Vitamin C Range- Glow Boosting Moisturiser and the Skin Reviver Instant Smoother – Great for those with sensitive skin. Both products are perfect for hydrating and enhancing your skins natural radiance. I have only just started using both of these products, but before ordering I did my research. I am now a huge advocate of vitamin-C. I have tried these products over the long weekend, and within a couple of days my skin already looks so much brighter and more youthful. Vitamin-C works on any damage your skin may have, acne scars, sun damage etc. Apply both Daily in the morning before make up, First apply the Glow Boosting Moisturiser and then apply the Reviver Instant Smoother.
The Body Shop has a great Vitamin-C range, which includes a boosting face spray which has also caught my attention. I have a Body Shop Catalogue for any of you interested, please feel free to drop me a message as I have a friend who sells Body Shop products so I can point you in the right direction.
Usage – I use the Neutrogena Moisturiser on the mornings I don’t have much time or when I’m applying foundation , concealer, cream contours or other face makeup as this moisturiser soaks into the skin within 60 seconds. On the days I have more time to get ready or I’m going for the very natural, bare minimum kind of look where I don’t apply face make-up I will use the Vitamin C range as this does take a little longer to soak into my skin, around 5 minutes. And I will use the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum, at least 3 nights a week.

Thank you for taking the time to watch my video’s and read my blog, I hope I may have helped with any recommendations in some way. If you have any questions or any recommendations for me please feel free to direct message me on my instagram, I see every message request. Any new skin care products I try out will of course get a blog post too. I have a couple of products I currently have my eyes on. (The Body Shop-Drops of youth and Nip+Fab Vitamin C fix Brightening Pads)
Also something new and exciting. I will be subscribing to three ‘Product-box’ subscriptions. I have decided to subscribe to – Glossy Box, Birch box and Look Fantastic box. Each sends… 1 box per month, Around £13 per box, Each box contacts 5-6 products, so no doubt I will have a blog post about this.
Any blog/video recommendation welcome
