LASHES!!!

Love my bargains.
So this is a quick one.
I’m a right lover for a bargain. And when there is a cheaper alternative, I’ll try and go for that one.
So… Eyelash extensions, Can be expensive right? Spending anywhere from £25-£80 per month (Depending on which lash extensions you go for and where you get them done). And truthfully, I’d rather have lashes on and not spend that kind of money, especially when they only last around 4 weeks (on average)
I love wearing lashes and the majority of strip lashes look fake and let’s be honest if you haven’t mastered the skill yet, they can be a nightmare to apply with your fingers, and only a little easier with tweezers.
So, my alternative
I searched on eBay for ‘wispy lashes’. I prefer wispy as they look very natural and fluttery to me. However, if you have a preference on how you want your lashes to look such as natural, long, short, full, thick etc. then please search for your preferred kind. After having a look at a few, I decided to buy these ones…

At only £2.99 (for 5 pairs) by eBay seller: Blazeofbeauty … I thought I may aswell try them out and give them a go.
I have also purchased these ones (picture below) for when I want fuller lashes, by ‘penguinprincess’ (lashes number 11) for £3.22 … As you can see the lash band is full black so it gives the impression you’re wearing a thin line of eyeliner. Where as the other lashes ( the ones above ) their lash line if you look closely goes black, clear, black, clear so they look more like individual lashes.

Once my lashes were purchased I still knew I hadn’t mastered that skill of putting them on using my fingers or even tweezers I needed some kind of device that helps.
This is where I come to this little contraption… Luckily one of my closest friends recommended this to me which I have now come to realise is one amazing little life and time saver. And as cheap as £1.99 by eBay seller: gingersnapcosmetics… it’s perfect and actually works.

It’s as simple as popping the lash in, putting the glue on the strip

Waiting a minute or two (Depending on which glue you use)
Then placing device on your eyelid just slightly above your lash line, waiting 10 seconds and then simply releasing the lash.

HEY PRESTO! Completed and Much easier. However it did take me a few goes to get used to how the little applicator works.
You can use any eyelash glue, but just as a recommendation, the best glue I have ever used is this one… Duo (green)…

It’s waterproof, very sticky and holds the lashes on until you take them off, You can shower and go swimming and the glue wont budge at all and leaves the lashes in place. I even tested out how long this glue lasts by sleeping in the lashes every night until they come off. And well, lets just say I’ve had these on for 10 nights now, without reapplying any glue to the corners or anything like that. I’ve showered in them, been out in the pouring rain in them, been on a run with them on. And they havent budged. I will most likely leave them on for a max of two weeks before peeling them off and applying new ones.
So if you don’t want the effort of putting on mascara or applying strip lashes every morning, simply just sleep in them and wake up in them every morning for as long as you can, even if you sleep on your face like I do, they should stay on, as mine have. After a night out the first thing I used to do is rip my lashes off before I go to sleep because they bothered me, But these ones becuase they are not as thick and full they don’t bother me. The glue doesn’t go funny, and even though its waterproof and sticks on like a dream, peeling the lashes feels the same and is just as easy if you were to use normal non-waterproof glue.
In total I spend around £5 on lashes that last me approx 10 weeks. Rather than individual ones that are £25-£80 or 4 weeks.
Here is a picture I’ve taken today of the lashes (Wearing ‘penguinprincess’ fuller lashes)

I have also taken a picture of the ‘Blazeofbeauty” lashes fresh on. (Below)

(Yes my foundations a little patchy and my eyebrows need doing *face palm*)
Anywho… You may take this alternative, it’s just a cheaper option that I choose to take, it’s not for everyone.
Hope this saves some people some money.
